Dhonveli Beach & Spa is a Four Star Hotel. The name 'Dhonveli' comes from Maldivian language meaning, 'Sand'. The accommodation is built with a selection of five categories, giving an ideal option within a price range, defined by a distinctive taste and luxury in the same one-Island-one-Hotel setting on land and water. The vegetation and plant life are all natural plant growth found in the Island and the landscape and gardens are maintained using the same flora. The geological distinction of Dhonveli, compare to other Maldivian Islands, makes the surrounding reef structure a very striking feature for diving, snorkeling, and surfing. The western side of the Island has a reasonably large beach that stretches along the bush-line, which is spacious enough for use without getting congested. |

Dhonveli is from the very beginning a very popular surfing spot for the water sports lovers. Widely known through the surfing world as 'Pasta Point' which is accessible from the southern end of the Island is a popular surf break; the Bar situated at the corner of the Island named as 'Co-Bar' is a popular hangout for anyone who loves the ocean and waves. Accessible by boat, less than half hour from the Island are another three very famous surf points known as 'honkies', 'sultans' and the 'jail break’. |

These are built as two separate rooms in a single story structure.
They are furnished with a double bed, a divan that can be used
as a day bed, wardrobe, a mini-bar closet and a writing table with
chairs; spacious enough to place another extra bed and good
for family use. The overhung deck above half the room size is
another bedroom with stairs from below. Spacious en-suite bathroom. The front façade faces the ocean. |

Water Suites are located in Northwest side of the island. The total
floor area is of 86sqm / over 900sqft and total Indoor is 54sqm /
over 550sqft. They are beautifully furnished as Living room with
day bed, tea/coffee making facilities, dressing table, mini-bar,
television with entertainment system, writing desk with internet
connection, cordless telephone, wardrobe, luggage rack and
air-conditioning. A spacious outdoor deck of dinning table with
chairs, sun loungers, towel rack, shower and steps to the lagoon.
Separate bedroom with king size bed, air-condition. Bathroom
with shower, WC, washbowl, bidet, telephone and Jacuzzi. It also
have some unique features as separate bedroom, direct access
to the bathroom from the deck, can enjoy the ocean view from
the Jacuzzi and room service unit outside the entrance.
Water Villas are located in Southern west side of the island. The
total floor area is 66sqm / over 700sqft and Total Indoor area is
44sqm / over 450sqft. It has the same facilities as Water Suites. |

The Hotel provides a wide range of weekly trips and excursions
daily to nearby Resort Hotels, Picnic Islands. Fishing Trips and
Snorkeling trips to nearby reefs are a very popular attraction. Trips
to Main Island Male' gives guests a taste of tradition and
modernism that is taking place. These trips are done as group
tours and minimum number of participants is required for them
to take place. All trips are guided by Hotel's Guest Relation staff.
The Dolphin-watching trip is the most popular trip among all trips. |

An entertainment program is arranged in the evening such as
Folklore Music, Disco and Live Band within the week days for
dancing and listening. The frequencies of these programs are
limited so the tranquility of the evening is not disturbed. Most
evenings are for lazing a drink in the 'sunset bar' whilst watching
the sunset and seeing few dolphins break surface occasionally,
in the vicinity, will make anyone just forget the physical world for
sometime. |

The large fresh water swimming pool located at the center of the
Hotel, close to the 'sunset bar' with a spacious deck near the
shore provides a relaxing day for anyone looking for tranquility
and peace. A medium sized gymnasium equipped and built to provide
some basic work-outs for all health aficionados. This place is
good enough for anyone thinking to shed some weight while on
holiday. The asphalt tennis court and badminton court with floodlights lets
all sports lovers enjoy a game while holidaying on Dhonveli
without any time constraint. The billiards table situated at the 'Co-Bar' and the table tennis table situated at the 'Sunset Bar' lets anyone have a game and
try their skills, while the time is available.
Spa with 6 treatment rooms & services include total body
massage, Balinese massage, Harmony, Swedish massage, Thai
traditional massage, Oriental Massage, Discovery massage,
Scalp massage, Foot massage, and Reflexology massage. The
masseurs are Thai and Indonesian Females and the treatments
are very much based on the these traditional skills and knowledge.
Diving School is run and operated by an internationally
recognized Dive organization called “Albatro's top diving”. It
provides PADI certified certificate courses both for experienced
and novices.
The water sports center lets the water sports lovers to enjoy
Canoeing, Catamaran, and Windsurfing on their own.
This is built near the Main Restaurant {Garden Restaurant} with an
outdoor playground and a games house with a Television. This
place lets families enjoy time with their children and the place
being in the central area, it is safe and suitable for children to
play and enjoy themselves at all times in the vicinity of people. |
